Sophia Delacotte CDPE SFR CHS

I am a full-time San Jose Realtor and a licensed Real Estate Agent in California since 2009.

I joined the Willow Glen branch of Compass Real Estate Services after 10 years of practice in Real Estate Law, Construction Law and Real Estate Portfolio Management.

I am a member of the Santa Clara County Association of Realtors (SCCAOR), California Association of Realtors (CAR) and National Association of Realtors (NAR). She is a Certified Distressed Property Expert (CDPE), Short Sale & Foreclosure Resource (SFR) and a Certified HAFA professional, specialized in short sales and foreclosures prevention.

Over the course of my legal career, I have dealt with many legal aspects of real estate property disputes and negotiated many settlements related to homes purchases and sales. Prior to joining Compass Real Estate Services in San Jose CA, I co-founded a framing company in Paris, France, where I was in charge of Business Development and Internet Marketing.

I am lucky enough to have lived and traveled extensively in Europe as well as in the United States, where I have learned to adapt to different cultures and lifestyles. I found out that reciprocal trust between you and the people you interact with will always enable you to make a difference in your professional or personal life, regardless of the country you live in.

I am a French native. I have lived in Paris, London, Berlin, and New York before settling in San Jose in the Bay Area in Spring 2007. During my spare time, I enjoy dancing, bargain hunting and interior decoration

As your listing agent, I will be diligent in addressing your two key concerns: selling price and lead time to sale. With regards to selling price, I will make sure that all assets of your property are properly enhanced to potential buyers. Together, we will define the best strategy to minimize time of your property on the market and leverage all tips available to make your home appealing from the inside and the outside.
